A Prescription for Accountable Healthcare

Leadership

Clinical Pharmacy Associates was founded in 1986 by Dr. Christopher Keeys, Pharm.D., R.Ph., BCPS and Kenneth Dandurand, M.S., R.Ph. The two of them met at Greater Southeast Community Hospital, Washington, DC, where they led the Pharmacy Department of this 450-bed hospital. At the time, they believed hospitals stood to benefit from having access to an independent, unbiased company that offered pharmacy leadership and drug information solutions. In 2001, recognizing the growing need for a cost effective alternative to 24x7 hospital pharmacy staffing, they founded CPA MedNovations, a pioneer in the development and advancement of the pharmacy practice solution after-hours Telepharmacy and today a nationally recognized leader in the category.
